Privacy Policy

1. Confidentiality Commitment

Confidentiality is the cornerstone of our risk intelligence mission. CES Intelligence handles all information with the professional rigor and discretion required for board-level strategic advisory. We only collect data strictly necessary to maintain a secure, high-trust B2B relationship.

2. Data Controller

The data controller is CES, a Société par Actions Simplifiée Unipersonnelle (SASU) registered with the RCS Agen under number 809 311 368, headquartered in Agen and Paris (liaison office), FRANCE. Contact: contact@ces-intelligence.com.

3. Data Collection and Purpose

Within the scope of our interactions, we collect the following categories of data:

Professional contact data (first name, last name, business email, company, role), used to:

  • Deliver strategic briefs and governance-ready reports (CES Intelligence Advisory membership);

  • Manage confidential exchanges related to advisory missions;

  • Ensure the integrity and security of our communication channels.

Account and usage data (login credentials, access logs), used to administer and secure member accounts under the Terms of Use — Membership.

Billing data (invoicing references), used to meet French accounting and tax obligations.

We do not engage in commercial data exploitation or mass marketing.

4. Legal Basis

Each processing operation rests on its appropriate legal basis:

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): delivery of subscribed CES Intelligence Advisory content and account management;

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): subscription to the free CES Intelligence Insights newsletter, where offered. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior processing;

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): security of communications and prevention of abuse;

  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): invoicing records.
     

5. Data Retention

Professional contact and account data are retained for the duration of the membership. Accounts inactive for 24 months are deactivated and associated data deleted within one month, except where legal retention obligations apply. Contractual and billing data related to advisory engagements are retained for five (5) years from the end of the contractual relationship (Art. L. 110-4, French Commercial Code). Newsletter contact data are retained until withdrawal of consent, or three (3) years after the last interaction at the latest.

6. Recipients and International Transfers

Your information is stored on secure infrastructure operated by Wix Online Platforms Limited (Dublin, Ireland). Billing and payment data are processed by [payment service provider], acting as processor. Some data may be transferred to servers located in the United States. Wix adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and applies the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to guarantee an adequate level of protection. Data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

You retain a permanent right to access, rectify, delete, limit, or oppose processing, and to request portability of your data. Requests are processed within one (1) month, extendable to three (3) months for complex requests, with prior information. You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) at any time. 8. Cookies and Trackers

Our site uses:

  • reCAPTCHA (Google) to secure forms, which may place temporary cookies and transmit your IP address;
